Thank YOU

Recently I received a message from someone who attended one of my Adventure to Connection programs.  At that event the focus was on gratitude so I asked the attendees to write thank you notes to themselves.

Gratitude, self love, appreciation and validation of our own value is imperative to staying strong and motivated in a volatile world.

My client recently took out the note he had written that night to reread and tweak it.  His message to me was that he was thrilled the review of that note led him to better connect with his aspirations for this year and beyond.

In Your quest for greater clarity of your goals and dreams take the time to recognize what you are grateful for in the world and within you.  Focusing on your special gifts and talents may lead you to realize a path or mission that simultaneously excites you and serves others.

“All actions in the past come together to make you who you are today…a beautiful mosaic with unlimited potential.”   From Find Your Fire at Forty, page 83

Action Step:  Hand  write a thank you note to YOU that includes traits, successes, how you overcame challenges, something beautiful you did for another…anything that makes you feel good about who you are and what you do.  Review it periodically throughout the year and see how it can spur creativity, peace and joy within you.
