Recently I was watching a movie with my boys and after an exchange between the two main characters (picture teens – young love- state of confusion and excitement), my 11 year old turns to me and said, “Mom, she likes him.”
This is interesting because at this early point in the movie the characters hadn’t expressed their real feelings…and the girl had just told the boy to leave her alone. So, I asked my son, “Why do you think so?”
He said, “She told him she didn’t like him but look at the way she’s looking at him and how she’s holding her hands. She looks like she really likes him.”
“Where did you learn that baby?” I asked.
“From you, Mom!” he laughed.
I realized how much I incorporate the body in everything I do. It’s where I come from, it’s what I’ve studied, it’s an intrinsic part of who I am, and how I navigate the world. And apparently it’s what I teach.
For the next three blogs I will be providing insights and strategies on how you can use the body to:
- Increase energy, creativity, productivity, and improve your mindset.
- Better align your message and communication style so you are more authentic, believable, and credible.
- Understand others at a deeper level and create more powerful relationships.
For the next three weeks look for new blogs and strategies you can use right away to better understand your body and how you can use it to help in every facet of your life!
