I Have a Dream…

What do you dream about at night?  For some the fears and anxiety of the day creep into their slumber and they either exacerbate the problem or work through and solve it.  Others may dream of what they wish for in their lives…their goals and hidden desires.

When you wake in the morning do you vividly recall the dream or is it a whisper of a memory then gone?   This happens to me often.  The moment I open my eyes I recall the essence of hope, love, joy and struggle to remember the details of how that feeling came to be.

While you are dreaming are you able to alter the dream…in the moment can you stop yourself and say “I’m not afraid, I’m simply dreaming” and change the outcome?  I have great respect for people who are able to do this.  It must be incredibly empowering.

Have you ever analyzed your dreams…to help you unlock a key to your subconscious mind???

Does your dreaming end when your eyes open for the day?  Do you sigh, stretch, throw your legs over the side of the bed and accept complacency?  Or do you dream even bigger during daylight hours??

The enemy of great is good.  You have a job- pays just enough to cover the bills, it’s not terribly rewarding but at least you have a job.  Your relationship is ok…not passionate or fulfilling but at least you have one.  You want to travel and show your kids the world but….sigh.

People who are in pain- just lost their job, no money, no relationship, no time to do what they love- tend to be the ones to step outside their comfort zone and attempt to reach for more.

Whether you are in pain or not, you deserve to dream.  To dream big.  And to achieve all you desire.

When you wake up in the morning, hop out of bed armed with the knowledge that you can make your dreams happen.  Then take a step, and another step, and another until you reach them.

Stepping outside your comfort zone and overcoming fear and complacency will help you take your life to a whole new level.

Action Step:  What dream have you suppressed?  Write down in detail something you’ve always wanted in your life.  Then take one step toward making that happen…right now.
